I decided to attempt making a pillow using fabric markers and paint.
I was inspired by different images on pinterest and tutorials on blogs.
I combined some of my favorites to come up with my own style.
First I wrote my words on loose leaf.
The fabric was thin enough that I could trace right through it!
Next I cut out a stencil of my own handwriting.
Then I adhered it to my fabric
Dabbed on some paint....
Next I peeled off the stencil and added the final word.
(Of course I did this right away....while the paint was still wet because
I have NO patience!!!)
This was the final result.
Stay tuned.... I am planning to turn this little
project into a pillow either for our bedroom
or for Noa's. (Maybe I will wait for the paint to
dry for that....since it is 1:00 am and I have a
REAL job to go to tomorrow!)
